Environmental management

By implementing an Environmental Management System, Siderúrgica Sevillana addresses the following objectives:

• Establish an environmental policy suited to the organisation and achieving the desired objectives..
• Ensure compliance of legislation and commitments of Siderúrgica Sevillana, S.A.
• That its activities are in accordance with Sustainable Development, that is, maintain the balance between the environment, steel-related activities and the welfare of the population.
• Propose the controlled reduction of polluting emissions in general.
• Contribute to the confidence of the interested parties through open communication with clients, workers, the administration, neighbours, etc.
• Develop environmental awareness in all workers, as well as external companies that collaborated with Siderúrgica Sevillana, S.A. through information and training. Encourage recycling and reuse of materials.
• Commit al members of Siderúrgica Sevillana, S.A. to an attitude of respecting the environment.
